My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

    I have never done a fundraiser before. Wow! What a start! I have already raised almost 4 times my set goal. I just started biking over the past year. I started a new career and am now commuting to work on my bike. I found I rather enjoyed it and even cycle on the weekends. The donations I’ve received show what a great family and friend support system I am lucky to have. Thank you to all that donated. Here’s to a great cycle to all who are doing this challenger. Let’s get after it!
