My Story

This August, I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight kids' cancer!

Why? Within our lifetime, a roughly 40% chance we will develop cancer! And chances are, you have friends or family members who have fought or are currently fighting cancer. It baffles me why people with healthy lifestyles would get cancer, even if it is generic; it is unjust!

Sadly, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. It is even more unjust that these kids need to fight for their lives!

So, I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support the SickKids Foundation to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
