I'm Riding For

Carol Adams

In August, I'm challenging myself to ride 200km to fight kids cancer. I'm riding in memory of my sister, Carol, who passed away from breast cancer. Carol has five grandchildren, which she called her "Fab Five". I ride for them and for my sister, so we can wipe cancer off the map. With every turn of my wheels, I will remember my sister and push myself to complete the 200km because nothing comparisons to her fight, or the fight over 1,700 Canadian children diagnosed with cancer have every year.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
