My Story
This August, I am once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Also, this has become real for me. Last summer I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. This is common among senior men. Imagine kids having to deal with cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

Ride #4
7 Aug 2025Aug 6, I rode 10.3km in the city along the St Lawrence River trail. This trail links in with others along the seaway. This is a beautiful place with lots to see and do. Being my fourth ride of at least 10km, I now feel as though I have regained my cycling cadence.
Also, I feel good and have comfort that the Cycle Challenge raises funds for a good cause.
Happy August!
