Back in 2020 I challenged myself to an extraordinary journey of riding from Waterloo to Ottawa, totaling over 700km in about a week's riding. I wasnt a professional cyclist then, and these days I have been far less now. Past couple years I was only able to ride marginally during the challenge, and it was a disappointment I couldnt focus on the challenge. This year on the 5 year anniversary of my epic ride, I figure I should at least do something.

Just as then, I see GCC as a fun way to challenge myself for a great cause. This summer, I would like to challenge myself yet again, and see how many klicks I can get in for this great cause.

I was blessed then to have phenomenal people in my life who donated to the cause, given me advice, and expressed interest in being part of the journey. My goal remains to spread good vibes, accomplish a seemingly daunting feat, and have fun - all while shedding light on a tough topic and helping make a difference in a few children's lives.
