I turned 40 this past July and as such I am an old man now. In my late 20s, with my good buddy Kevin Morse, I had challenged myself in support of the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. 200+ KM journey across the foothills of the Canadian Rockies in just 2 days. With great determination and while other more experienced and fit riders tapped out during harsh winds, hail and rain, both of us successfully completed the ride with NO walking. It is with that same force I am back with even more grit and ready to ride “over the hill” and once again stand against cancer. This August I will be doing the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer. I pledge to ride each day rain or shine with a minimum total goal of 200km and raising at least $1500.
