This August, I am taking part again in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I'll be riding to support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

This'll be year SEVEN for me! I'm still riding for my cousin Ellie. She's not really a kid anymore - she's 20 and in university now (what?!), studying brain and behavioral science (of course). The doctor said years back that if she gets to her early 20s this kind of tumor probably won't be a problem as an adult. . . she's just learned that she only needs to go in to check once a year now! I can't pedal her brain tumor away, but I can help raise money to fund the science that has been kicking its ass and keeping it stable year after year. I'm going to start out with a 500 km goal because I'm still not commuting 5 days a week. . . but never say never, that goal could always go up.
