This year Oliver and myself will carry on for Lori, as she is no longer here to do so herself. Lori was my wife and life partner for 4 years and an amazing mother to our little boy Oliver. In August of 2020 Lori was out riding to complete her km goal when she was struck by a car well the driver was distracted by her cell phone. She would have done everything she could have to complete her goal but unfortunately she was robbed of any chance she had to do so. This year Oliver and I will do what we can to complete our goal in her honour. RIP my love, we miss you every single day!

My Story

20 Jan 2021

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I can't think of very many people that hasn't known at least one child that has lost their battle. It's a terrifying and heartbreaking reality for many, and as both a human and a parent my heart breaks a million times over for the lives gone far too soon, and for the broken families left behind.

Right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
