I'm Riding For
Sarah Jane Emson (1967-1997)

Although technically not a child, Sarah Jane was my "baby sister" whose life was snatched from her just days before her 30th birthday. This picture was taken on her wedding day, a few weeks before she died. Her strength, courage, and resilience was inspiring. The thought of a child enduring what she went through brings me to tears and so, in memory of Sarah, I dedicate this challenge to her.
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge (Canada) to fight kids' cancer and support the work of the SickKids Foundation!
Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Why? Because I lost my "baby sister", Sarah Jane Emson (1967-1997), to the ravages of cancer at far too young an age.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through this challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation - to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a generous donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change lives; little lives with everything to live for.
Thank you,
Michelle
