This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer.

I know we can beat the beast! My kilometre goal may be small, but my support, with your help, is HUGE😊

Why? As a family we know an amazing survivor who has made his mark by raising over $100,000 through his annual solo run to raise money to fight childhood cancer, We have known others with children Who fought a good fight but lost in the end and this beast be my dad but only after he had his three score and 20 years.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. I can’t imagine how families person through the hospitalizations and dark times that childhood cancer put them through. Kids fighting cancer are the heroes and with your help I hope we can prevent future kids and their families from having to go through this.

This is why I am raising funds through my challenge, to support SickKids Foundation in their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
