My Story

Since I have started training for a triathlon, cycling has become a huge part of my training. This August I have joined the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Over 1700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and 3 kids die every week from cancer. For those of you who have known me for a long time, you would know that I spent my childhood very active. I played a lot of sports, I loved to spend time outdoors, and I loved to travel with my family. That is the childhood that every child deserves, not having to fight cancer.

Cancer has impacted my family greatly, and I’m sure it has impacted you and your family in some way as well. The funds raised through this challenge will go towards the Sick Kids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer. Any and all donations are appreciated!

For my part in this challenge, I will be setting a goal to bike 150km in the month of August! I hope you can support me on this challenge! If you enjoy cycling, I encourage you to join this challenge too! You can set any goal and it is completely free to sign up!
