Grandma and Fiona

Cancer has been disease that has robbed me recently of my grandmother. A disease that my dear cousin has been battling for a few years now. Watching the two fight through their struggles and pain has really changed my point of view towards life as it made fully understand that the present was very important and the future isn’t guaranteed therefore hope should be the last to be lost. I can’t fathom what kids and families battling cancer go through hence this is my one way of showing support.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
