Lovely ride this morning. My route keeps me close to home but is a great mix of urban and rural. It is also a friendly route with lots of greetings along the way. Life is good.
First official ride done - 12.5 km. Thank you to all my supporters. Today I am wearing GCC All-Star shirt - I am wearing it to celebrate and commemorate my sponsors over the past 10 years who have donated over $10,000 to Sick Kids. You really are the best.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s ride. Happy holiday weekend.
I hate to admit it but I am in terrible shape this year. I can blame life circumstances but I think there is a good amount of laziness and procrastination. That being said, I am out on the bike daily. I am back to doing some conditioning exercises and best of all hula hooping. I love hula hooping!
I will be writing short blogs to keep you in the loop. I do have a wonky right knee but as a good (not)therapist I have self diagnosed and am treating it based on the diagnosis. I will probably end up in proper therapy in September.
Thank you for your support. Enjoy this beautiful summer.
