Ride number 3
Didn’t really have a plan, I just wanted to go around St. Albert. It was a fun ride with nice cool air.
The hills made me work for it but I didn’t stop just kept pedaling. Keep the momentum going.
1 hour and 27 minutes for 25 km is my new goal to beat. I am hoping for 1 hour and 15 by end of August but let’s hope for better.
Enjoy your evening
I got swept up in all the family get togethers, renovations and catching up on celebrations I missed in July. So I made time to retrieve my bike from work to get those kilometres in. I am trying to do more than last year and hopefully finish beating this year’s goal as well.
The ride was nice and cool as the sunset and everything seemed in my favour even the lights! This is probably my best time so far.
I was so excited to get started that I did a few laps around work to round up my Kilometres! I was also actually able to open up the bike a bit in terms of speed! Still need to access those tops gears so still some tweaking for this bike.
We ride! First day, here to hoping I can reach my donation goal this year.
Starting off with a nice easy 7 k to work 7 km back home after work. If possible I’ll be going for a ride this weekend to the Edmonton Bicycle Commuters to add some more bling to the bike.
Washed up the old bike I fixed up last year for this Cycling challenge and ready to start tomorrow bright and early. While my challenge is to bike everyday to and from work to get my 200 km I am hoping to exceed 200 km this year by adding additional rides over the weekend. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted on my progress.
