• Funds raised line goes up and so up goes the goal !
    31 Jul 2025

Well that didn't age well. 3 hours later, we blew past the original $1000 goal and air-kissed the new $1500 goal. So we are aiming for $2000.

Thank you so much for your encouragement and financial support. This means the world to me right now.

Following yesterday's 110km indoor training ride, I was hit by massive muscle cramps up and down each leg. I had to leap out of bed and knead each leg or simply punch my quads or bang my feet on the ground to overcome the cramp. It's one of the side effects of the new chemo therapy I started 2+ weeks ago and repeated this past Monday. That pain will not stop me from punching out the KM needed to achieve this goal. I may actually increase the average ride distance in order to reduce the number of outings so that I can reduce the cramping.

    Woooo !!!!

  • We hit our initial fundraising goal so let's keep pushing!

After a little more than 48 hours, we managed to hit and surpass our goal of $1000. So let's increase it to $1500! That's how we ride as well. Set aggressive goals. Achieve them. Set new, more challenging goals. Rinse and repeat.

This August, ST4 GBM Roadies is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support us by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

    Thank you.
