I'm Riding For

Breanna Naarah Kristy Katherine Bob

Breanna Naarah Kristy Katherine Bob

Bre is the sweetest ever guardian angel of her two young brothers who were born after she gained her angel wings in 2016. A bright light snuffed too soon! Naarah is our family's strong spirit who has kept us all in awe of how she loved life and participated in so many activities A girl of our hearts for sure! Sadly Naarah left in 2018. The list is way too long: Bob, Katherine, Kristy who all predeceased their parents. This ride is to save more families from the heartache of losing a loved one. Funds go to SickKids childhood cancer research team. I thank you for your support from me, but most importantly, from our childhood cancer warriors and their families! You are very important part of the goal to allowing kids to bike, swim, play instead of fighting for their life. The way it should be.

My Story

2 Aug 2025

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for my 10th year! Count them, 10! When I first signed up, I had the honour to meet charming, smart, talented little Breanna who had the most beautiful smile. So very sadly Brianna earned her angel wings that year. All children should be able to run, bike, play and share great adventures with friends. They shouldn’t have to fight to keep living. Please join with me to find cures for childhood cancers!

In short, Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I pledge to pedal my way through August, raising funds to help SickKids Foundation's research team find many more answers to help cancer warriors big and little. Please support me to help decrease the number of children and adults (they are ALL someone's child) who lose their lives to this terrible disease!

Thank you so very much for your support, I appreciate it so much!

I couldn't imagine fighting this disease with a child, it is tough enough to support an adult fighting cancer. Thanks from me as well, I will keep pedalling! :) Hugs, Diane”

One dollar for each year of my life, I am so blessed and I hope by participating in GCC, more children can reach the old age of 70. :) We are backing you, our GCCC ambassadors! Thank you so much for being our amazing motivators. Family and friends, please support me in this very worthwhile cause.”
